About The Owner

Nile Scott Hawver is an NYC-based headshot and performance photographer. Nile opened his first studio location in 2016, his second in 2020, his third in 2023, and a fourth in 2025. He has combined his extensive theatre training, experience with furniture building and DIY projects, obsession with design, and commitment to customer service into a highly successful studio sharing operation. Studio Monday is his first rental space, and it has served him well for nearly seven years. He can’t wait for you to create amazing things in this space!

(Why Studio Monday? Nile has a dog named Odin, from which “Wednesday” is derived - “Odin’s Day". The first studio to receive a name was the third one; it is called Studio Wednesday. This being Nile’s first location, and Monday being the first day of the week, it all made perfect sense!)
